She was predeceased by: her parents, Leonard Philpott and Wanda Philpott (Lawrence); and her siblings, Charles Philpott, Leonard Philpott Jr. and Anita Stalcup.
She is survived by: her husband Leroy Turpin; her children, Michael Turpin (Hannah), Adam Turpin and Tammara Hendershot (Donald); and her sisters, Terry Wright and Teresa Stone. She is also survived by three grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, May 4th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Funeral Chapel and Crematory of Powell (3000 E 3rd St, Bloomington, IN 47401). A funeral service was held on Monday, May 5th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
