We are sad to announce that on April 24, 2026, at the age of 77, Stephen L. Rolfe (Bloomington, Indiana) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, may Stephen find peace everlasting, cradled in the gentle embrace of the universe. And as we stand on the shores of remembrance, may his legacy inspire us to live each day with purpose, passion, and profound gratitude for the gift of life itself.
He was predeceased by: his parents, L. James Rolfe and Nina L. Rolfe; and his in-laws, Earl and Marjorie Eberle. He is survived by: his wife Linda. He is also survived by 3 brothers, 8 sisters -in-law and 4 brothers-in-law, 21 other nieces and nephews, 46 great nieces and great nephews and 2 great great nephews.
Memorial contributions can be made to the American Battlefield Trust, the Friends of the Smokies or the Monroe County History Center.
