He is survived by: his wife Barbara Markum Schlegel; his children, Shelli Douglas (Jeffrey) of Kenefic, Oklahoma, Brad Schlegel (Susan) of Bloomington, Indiana, Susan Johnson of Bloomington, Amy Hale (Lance) of Middletown, Indiana, Holly Remley (Jonathan) of Kokomo, Indiana and Jerremy Monroe (Jessica) of Anderson, Indiana.; and his cousin Phyllis Stevenson. He is also survived by 22 Grandchildren, 21 Great-Grandchildren, and 4 Great-Great-Grandchildren; one brother.
