He was predeceased by : his parents, Forrest Wendel "Jim" and Betty Jean Eads (Porter); and his brother Mark Eads. He is survived by : his children, Josh Eads of Bloomington, Nikki Gann of Milton, FL, Justin Stacy Eads of Charleston, SC and James Eads of Bloomington; and his siblings, Stacy Eads of Georgia and Elaine Eads (Camille Wright) of Bloomington. He is also survived by Five grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Steve's professional life included contributions to Bloomington Hardware, All Seasons Heating Cooling, Circle Prosco Inc, and the Justice Building.
