He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Ernest "Doc" Shoufler and Alice Shoufler (Bays); his wife Rita Shoufler; his children, Roger Shoufler (Rhonda), Shannon Joy (TJ), Jill Neal (Johnny Winters) and Jeanette Shoufler (Mark Richardson); his grandchildren, Sara Robertson, Matt Shoufler, Drew Shoufler, Luke Fisher, Paige Fisher, Alison Thomas, Phillip Thomas, Mason Thomas, Alayna Thomas, Patrick Williams, Avery Neal and Ben Flake; his sister Sharon Sexton; his son Jason Russell; and his brother Jim Shoufler. He was also cherished by several great-grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or Arlington United Methodist Church in Ted's name.
