He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Walker and Cora Goodin; and his brother Douglas Goodin. He is survived by: his wife Lydia; his children, Kristin Eaton (Nathan) and Daniel Goodin (Maresa); and his grandchildren, Joshua, Caleb, Lucas and Leia.
Van dedicated his life to his family and his Christian faith, humbly donating his time and resources to promote the declaration of the Gospel and to support the ministries of his local Seventh-day Adventist church.
