She was predeceased by: her parents, Otis Mitchell and Lela Mitchell (Wampler); her husband John F. Abbitt; and her sister Ruth Todd. She is survived by: her children, Carolyn Abbitt, Janette Robertson, Alan Abbitt, Patrick Abbitt and Michael Abbitt; her grandchildren, Lisa Douglas, Tamarah Heffner and Jacqi Black; her great grandchildren, Lindsey Stacy, Braydon Abbitt Key, Nathaniel Black, Alyssa Black and Lucas Black; and her brother Jerry Mitchell. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and extended family.
