He is survived by: his wife Diana Gonterman (May); his daughter Tonya Herring; his grandchildren, Zachary Herring (Lauren May) and Breanna Herring Stevens (Tim); his sisters, Sandra Carrell (Butch) and Ann Britton (Fred); and his nieces and nephews, Lori Finch, Mark Carrell, Sonya Wykoff and Rick Britton.
