With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Wayne Nichols (Bloomington, Indiana), who passed away on January 15, 2022 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Jonathan "Buster" Nichols and Iona Lillian Nichols (Cox); and his siblings, Herbert, Greta "Faye", LaVonne, Wanda and Ronald.

He is survived by: his wife Janet Nichols (Stephens); and his children, Maureen Nichols, Rachel Nichols (Meg Wesling), Stephanie Penny Lookenbill (Damien), Eric Wayne Nichols (Jane), Ryan Stephens Nichols (Maria) and Sam Stephens Nichols (Kelley). He is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, please contribute to the athletic departments at BHS South or BHS North, or their science competition teams, or to the charity of your choice.
