He was predeceased by : his parents, Barbara Leigh Nelson (Willie) and Donald Nelson; and his siblings, Donald Shane Nelson and Charlotte Duncan. He is survived by : his close friend Christina Barger of Bloomington; his children, Scott Nelson of Ellettsville, Sean Nelson (Ranisa) of North Muskegon, MI and Sophia Nelson of Ellettsville; his grandson Wylie Nelson; his sister Cindy Nelson; and the mother of his children Darcy Lavender. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
