She was predeceased by: her parents, Kay Bayless and Mary Bayless (Smekens); her husband Marvin L. Day; and her granddaughter Jana Day Starr. She is survived by: her children, Susan Day of Lafayette, Sally Day of Bluffton, Sarah Seligman (David) of Carmel, Scott Day (Pandy) of Sturgis, MI and Steve Day of Bluffton; her grandchildren, Jill Pagels (Dustin) and Daniel Seligman; her great grandchildren, Nathan and Matthew Pagels; and her sister Sue Nelson (Phil) of Pellston, MI.. She is also survived by niece and two nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to Riley Hospital for Children or Wells County Bargain Hut.
