She was predeceased by : her parents, Arnett Stauffer and Neola (Whitehurst); her husband Clifford M. Powell; her son Clifford M. Powell Jr.; and her sisters, Waneta Amstutz and June Dresser.

She is survived by : her sons, Gerry Powell (Patricia) of O'Fallon, MO, Terry L. Powell of Bluffton and Byron T. Powell of Bluffton; and her sister Toni Brewster of Berne, IN. She is also survived by four grandchildren and six grt. grandchildren.
