It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carol Leitner of Bluffton, Indiana, who passed away on July 28, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Paul W. Musselman and Ethel Berniece Musselman (Murray); her husband Joe; and her brothers, Paul Musselman and Dale Musselman.

She is survived by : her children, Deborah Leitner of Fort Wayne, Lisa Bye (Stephen) of Harrisburg, PA, Joseph Leitner of Bluffton, Valerie Leitner of Greenfield, IN, Kimberly Weachock (Steven) of Columbia City, IN and Charles Leitner of Fort Wayne, IN.; her grandchildren, Matthew, Kaitlyn, Rachel, Andrew, Travis, Molly and Makenna; her great grandchildren, Marceline and Magnolia; her sister Judy Canady of Warren; and her siblings-in-law, Becky Musselman of Bluffton and Merlin Lemke of Wisconsin. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be made in Carol's memory to Lutheran Life Villages at Pine Valley.

Patricia Pasterski wrote a sympathy message

“Deb, Lisa, Joe, Val, Kim & Chuck, You all have our deepest of sympathies. We are unable to make it to the funeral, but we just wanted to let you know that you are in our thoughts and prayers. We keep talking about coming to Indiana to visit but just seem to be so busy. All of our girls are now young adults so hopefully we will be able to take the time. It always so much fun when all of you and your parents would come to Wisconsin and stay with us. Marty & Patti (Leitner) Pasterski”
