He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul N. Baumgartner and Justine L. Baumgartner (Liechty); and his sister-in-law Sarah J. Baumgartner. He is survived by: his brother Dennie Baumgartner of Berne; his nieces, Heidi Kloepper (Darren) of Bluffton and Holly Baumgartner (Shawn Swartz) of Asheville, NC; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Sequoia Baumgartner, Madison Hidalgo (Samuel), Caroline Kloepper, Sarah Jane Kloepper, Elijah Baumgartner (Caroline), Joseph, Daniel, William and Tate Kloepper; Elliot Hidalgo, Savannah, Delany and Adeline Hidalgo.
