She was predeceased by: her husband Alvin "Al" D. Massey. She is survived by: her daughter Lisa Small of Bluffton; her grandchildren, Spencer Massey (Mariah), Jase Small (Justine) and Taylor Small; her great grandchildren, Emma and Brooks Massey; and her siblings, Linda Russ (Jay) of Fort Wayne, Marcia Gregg of Fort Wayne and Daniel Nicholson of Ossian. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be made to the Wells County Foundation for the Spay & Neuter Clinic or to Friends of the Wells County Animal Shelter.
