Duane Allen Steffen Obituary
We are sad to announce that on October 3, 2025, at the age of 64, Duane Allen Steffen of Bluffton, Indiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Steffen and Carol Tarr (Riggenbach); and his brothers, Kelly and Randall Steffen. He is survived by: his wife Karen of Bluffton; his children, Jessica Steffen (Brian) of Bluffton, Bradley Steffen (Kendra) of Bluffton, Justin Steffen (Larissa) of Morton, IL. and Sadie Gerber (Kevin) of Bluffton, IN.; his siblings, Craig Steffen of Bluffton, Amy Worthman (Kent) of Bluffton, Mitchell Steffen (Tess) of Fort Wayne and Vivian Drennen (Rex) of Montpelier; and his sister-in-law Dian Steffen.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Apostolic Christian Church (1970 S 800 E, Bluffton, IN 46714). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
Duane was very practical, and the family strongly prefers instead of sending flowers, plants and gifts, that memorials be made in Duane's memory to Friends Who Care Cancer Relief Foundation or to Stillwater Hospice in Fort Wayne and can be sent to the funeral home.
