He was predeceased by: his parents, John H. and Mary E. Baumgartner (Gehring); and his siblings, Truman, Howard Baumgartner, Carolyn Yergler, Delores Shady, Lillian Sprunger, Jo Ann Harter and Mary Ann Baumgartner.
He is survived by: his wife Joyce Isch; his children, Brad Baumgartner (Michelle) of Bluffton, Kirk Baumgartner (Laurie) of Bluffton, Tad Baumgartner (Stephanie) of Bluffton, Gayla Gerber (Steve) of Bluffton and Lesley Kintz (John) of Decatur; his siblings, Helen Woodward of Bluffton, Anna Rose Lloyd of Clarksville, GA, Lois Tackwell (Lloyd) of Fort Wayne and Gene Baumgartner (Elaine) of Syracuse; his sister-in-law Marjorie Baumgartner of Bluffton; and his grandchildren, Blane Baumgartner (Amber), Brendan Baumgartner, Carly Tino (Logan), Landon Gerber (Brittany), Lucas Gerber (Andrea), Levi Gerber (Olimpia), Kylie Tomlin (Ryan), Jonah Baumgartner (Victoria), Evan Baumgartner, Lily Sandoval (Aaron), Ava Kintz, Samuel, Jude and Andy Gale Baumgartner. He is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.
