She was predeceased by: her parents, Burley Lewis and Smina Lewis (Brock); her husband Howard Vaughn Sr.; her son Neal Vaughn; and her siblings, Ethel Turner, Perlina Cloud, Fannie Vallee, Jake, Lacy, James, Jessie, Henry and Johnny Lewis.
She is survived by: her children, Ellen Hobbs (Tim) of Bluffton, Alesia Hoffman of Bluffton, Kay Kramer of Bluffton, Howard Vaughn Jr. (Makaye) of Bluffton and Bill Vaughn (Rhonda) of Bluffton; and her sister Mary Brown of Williamsburg, KY. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
