He was predeceased by: his father Edgar Gilbert; and his sister Elizabeth Gilbert. He is survived by: his mother Roberta Gilbert (Ross); his daughter Carley Gilbert of Kendallville; and his sister Sheli Pulfer (Larry) of Ossian.
