He was predeceased by: his parents, Ira T. "Nick" Nicholson and Martha Jane Nicholson (Miller); and his wife Sherryl Nicholson. He is survived by: his children, Shawn Nicholson (Teresa) of Bluffton, Stace Nicholson of Alexandria, VA. and Micah Wright (Nicholas) of Brownsburg, IN; his grandchildren, Grace, Olivia Nicholson of Bluffton, Madeleine Nicholson of Alexandria, VA., Harper and Anderson Wright of Brownsburg; his sister Sandra Faus of Bluffton; and his nieces and nephews, Deborah Huffman of Bluffton, Angie McFarren of Bluffton, Doug Campbell of Bluffton, Jon Campbell of Keystone and Jeff Campbell of Columbia, SC..
A graveside service was held on Saturday, May 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Elm Grove Cemetery (State Rd 124, Bluffton, IN 46714).
In lieu of flowers, the family prefers memorials may be made in Mike's memory to Community Care of Northeast Indiana and directed to the funeral home.
