He was predeceased by : his parents, Kenneth Runkle and Imogene Runkle (Weaver); and his siblings, Karon Miller and Harold Runkle. He is survived by : his wife Yvette K. Gentis of Bluffton; his children, Tanner Runkle of Bluffton, Brandy Runkle-Boxell of Bluffton, Cheyenne Schearer of Bluffton and Jasmine Ruiz (Daniel) of Columbia City; his grandchildren, Kali, Jakeb Boxell of Zanesville, Baylee, Alyssa Schearer of Pleasant Mills, Amelia Ackerman (John) of Fort Wayne and Daniela Ruiz of Columbia City; his great grandchild Natalie Akerman of Fort Wayne; his siblings, Theron Miller (Clara) of Bluffton and Kenna Hippenhammer (Roger) of Noblesville; and his siblings-in-law, Betty Runkle of Wolcottville, Bernie Kleinknight of Geneva, Tom Gentis (Kim) of Petroleum and Tracy Gentis (Rhonda) of McNatt. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
