Sharon E. Gentis Obituary
We are sad to announce that on July 2, 2025, at the age of 86, Sharon E. Gentis of Bluffton, Indiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Gregg and Helen Gregg (Clark); her husband Bill Gentis; her stepfather Ray Kirkwood; her daughters, Ann Dunwiddie and Melissa Collins; her granddaughter Jaime Gentis; her great grandchild Grace Rinn; her siblings, Ralph Davison and Jone Oman; her brother-in-law Jim Oman; and her stepbrother Kenny Kirkwood.
She is survived by: her children, Kurt Gentis (Susie), Sheila Herdman (David), Kelly Gentis (Robin) and Kerry Gentis (Michelle); her grandchildren, Dan Gentis, Kristy Rinn, Celeste Paquette, Kristen Adam, Ryan Dunwiddie, April Schisler, Mia Gentis, Kit Gentis, Tia Osborn, Lia Warren, Alan Elliott, Andrea Balkcom, Abby Holloway, Maria Bates, Emilee Armstrong and Austin Gentis; her brother John Gregg (Deloris); her brother-in-law Rex Gentis (Martha); her stepsister Donna Cochran (Kirkwood); Dan Dunwiddie of Bluffton and Joe Collins of Bluffton. She is also survived by 34 great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made in Sharon's memory to the First Church of Christ or to Helping Hands Family Resource Center, both in Bluffton, Indiana.
