She was predeceased by: her parents, Herman H. Pinkerton and Pearl L. Pinkerton (Sprinkle); her husband Michael A. Duncan; and her siblings, Richard, Paul, Raymond Pinkerton, Elizabeth Collins and Nancy Schwaller.
She is survived by: her son Chris Duncan (Stacey) of Bluffton; her grandchildren, Jacob Duncan (Ashlynne), Hailey Duncan (Ethan Miller) and Hannah Duncan (Hunter Kyler); her great grandchildren, Bohden and Brewer Duncan; and her sisters, Mary Reed and Alice James (Delmer).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in memory of Shirley may be made to the American Legion Post 111 of Bluffton or the Wells County Public Library.
