With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Brenda Kay Sutton (Boonville, Indiana), who passed away on August 5, 2025 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Everett Curtis and Karrie Curtis (Yoakum); her husband Rev. David J. Sutton; her brothers, David and Gregory Curtis; and her sister-in-law Diann Curtis.
She is survived by: her children, Angela Mathis (Kevin), John Sutton (Kathy), Jeff Sutton (Crystal), Shirley Hurm (Scott) and Jennifer Childers (Cory); her foster son Craig Winebarger; her grandchildren, Josh Mathis, Brenden Mathis, Jason Thomason, Hailey, Brandon Thomason, Alexis, Bayleigh Gibson, Cameron Hurm, Jada, Raven Childers and Sabastion Winebarger (Chasity); her great grandchildren, Zane, Blaine, Anoura Mathis, Savannah, Emersyn, Riley Thomason, Kayla and Abel Winebarger; and her sister-in-law Shannon Curtis. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
