James Edwin Stoneman Obituary

He was predeceased by: his parents, Vivian Stoneman (Koenitz) and Edwin Stoneman; his wife Nancy Stoneman; his grandson Gabriel Stoneman; and his son-in-law Dennis Garrison.

He is survived by: his children, Jill Conner (Mike), Dawn Welch (Curt), Melanie Garrison and Greg Stoneman (Kelly); and his sister Marianne Schmitz. He is also survived by 21 grandchildren and 35 great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 5th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Thursday, November 6th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 6th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Living Word Christian Church (3888 IN-261, Newburgh, IN 47630).

Memorial Contributions may be made to the Southern Indiana Honor Flight.
