He was predeceased by : his parents, Charles Eugene Bolton and Alice Josephine Bolton (Yoakum); and his siblings, Joann Collier (Bolton), Charles Ray Bolton and Garland Eugene Bolton.

He is survived by : his former life partner Min Ja Bolton (Lee); his sons, Charles Lee Bolton (Samantha) and David Wayne Bolton (Margot Lyon); and his extended family, Rex Phelps (Debbie) and Darrel Phelps (Jennifer). He is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Being a lover of trees and nature, Larry donated pecan trees that are planted on the southeast corner of Boonville City Lake across the way where you could often find him fishing.
