With sadness, we share the passing of Alvin Lee Scott of Borden, Indiana. Alvin, born on June 26, 1953 in Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on October 5, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilma Earls and Clliff Scott; and his grandson Bryce Scott. He is survived by: his sons, Noah Scott (Jennifer) and Nathan Scott (Kelli); his siblings, Cliff Scott (Debbie), Patrick Scott, Sandy Horn and Bobby "Robert" Thompson; his friend Frances Hunter; and his grandchildren, Bradley Scott, Chayce Scott and Mckynzie Scott. He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, friends.

A memorial gathering will be held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Ln, New Albany, IN 47150). A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the same location.
