It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Teresa Rutherford of Borden, Indiana, who passed away on June 3, 2025, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Teresa Rutherford to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her mothers, Joy Wheeler and Dorothy Wheeler (Hammonds); her husband Paul "Bob" Rutherford; and her siblings, Danny Bidwell and Lorna Strojny.
She is survived by: her children, Holly Thompson (Chris) and Bob Rutherford (Amy); her siblings, Jerry Bidwell, Joy Carolyn Sumner (Sam) and Diana Hall (James); and her grandchildren, Gracie Mauck, Emma Mauck, Chloe Rutherford, Rachael Rutherford, Hunter Rutherford and Layla Rutherford.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, June 7th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the First Christian Church of Borden (1532 E Water St, Borden, IN 47106). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Donations in memory of Teresa may be made to the Borden Braves Foundation or the First Christian Church of Borden.
