Bitting and Marilyn Bitting (Crane); his wife Christine Gardner-Conway; his children, Apryl Deeter (Troy), Heather Chupp (Alvin), Chad Bitting, Courtney Bitting (Jamie) and Joshua (Tisha); his stepchildren, Mat Conway (Sarah), Kelli Rolston (James) and Trent Conway (Sarah); and his siblings, Susan Matthews (Dana), Peggy Hartman (Jody), Kathy Collins, Ruth Whitehead (Ray), James Bitting (Kim) and John Bitting (Dyana). He was also cherished by 17 grandchildren; 23 step grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren and 5 more on the way; 2 step great grandchildren.
Memorial contributions in Douglas' name can be given to Fairfield Alumni.
