He is survived by: his parents, Joseph Nelson and Janet Nelson (Roach); his wife Shanna; his daughter Arianna Hope Bontrager (John); his grandchildren, Sawyer James and Hudson Anthony; his daughters, Kathryn Brianne Dunn (Joseph), Karah Bethany Nelson (Brendan King) and Marissa Grace Nelson; his sister Melissa Markley (Mark); his in-laws, Robert and Kathryn Ford; Matthew Ford (Donna) and Kassandra Ragsdale (Zane). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
