He is survived by: his wife Jo McCollough; his children, Philip Piwowarski of Peru, IN, Thomas Piwowarski of Peru, IN, Alexa Piwowarski of Peru, IN and Cynthia Piwowarski of Peru, IN; and his siblings, Janet DeWitt (Gregory) of Kildeer, IL and Anthony Piwowarski (Evelyn) of McCormick, S. C..
