He was predeceased by: his parents, Lowell Tener and Lueverta Tener. He is survived by: his wife Sonya "Sam" Quier; his children, Cassie Kuhn (Joshua) of Mentone and Joshua Tener (Jessica Clyde) of Claypool; and his siblings, Gary Tener (Nancy) of Etna Green, Cindy Smith of Argos, Randy Tener of Bremen and Ryan Tener (Virginia) of Nappanee. He is also survived by his nine grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 3:30 PM at the Church of the Brethren (921 Woodies Ln, Bremen, IN 46506). A memorial service was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 at 3:30 PM at the same location.
