He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Potts and Opal Potts (Anderson); and his sisters, LoRene Jones and Nancy Bullock. He is survived by: his wife Peggy Thompson; his son Ricky Potts (Sue); his grandson Ricky Potts Jr. (Sheryl); his siblings-in-law, Bob and Sue Thompson; his niece Leslee McDonald (Scott); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Madison and Bradee; his nephew Tony Thompson (Jenny); and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Hayden and Sawyer.
