He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Vivian and Ruth Esther Helton (Haverkamp); his brothers, Leonard Helton and Jerry Helton; and his sister-in-law Jan Helton.
He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Tisdale; his children, Robert Helton (Dena), Marsha Dowell (Travis) and Ryan Helton (Kendra); his grandchildren, Tyler Helton, Taylor Helton, Mailey Meyers, Collin Helton, Skylee Helton, Kevin Moore, Beau Helton, Wren "Gator" Helton, Samantha Hughey (Matt), Christian Dowell, Justin Dowell and Sarah Dowell; and his sister Patricia Marbry. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
