With sadness, we share the passing of David Thompson (Brazil, Indiana). David, born on March 2, 1940, passed away on September 2, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Garland Thompson and Edna Thompson (Clark); and his siblings, Tandy Thompson and Joyce Thompson. He is survived by: his wife Kathy Thompson; his sons, Dustin Thompson, Shayne Thompson, Ryan Swearingen (Jennifer) and Danny Swearingen; his brother Alan Thompson; and his grandchildren, Jordon (Kim), Jared, Logan, Justine, Ava, Eli, Zachary, Luke and Emily. He is also survived by several great-grandchildren; as well as several nieces, nephews and other extended family.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Moore Funeral Home (142 N Washington St, Brazil, IN 47834). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 at the Roselawn Memorial Park (7500 N Clinton St, Terre Haute, IN 47805).
