He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Tiefel and Cleo Tiefel (Gettle); his son Michael Tiefel; and his siblings, Tom Tiefel and Mary Lewis.
He is survived by: his wife Karen Tiefel; his daughter Melissa Morris (Donnie); his sister June Lawson; his brother-in-law John Oxby (Connie); his grandchildren, Adrian Tiefel (Ella), Harley Miller (Heather), Haylee Miller and Leslie Jones (James); and his great grandchildren, Harmonie, Addison, Aidan, Charlie, Bentley, Liberty, August, Andrew and Kennedy. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and other extended family.
