It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Melvina Chesshir of Brazil, Indiana, born in Owensboro, Kentucky, who passed away on September 29, 2022, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles E. Evitts and Susan Smith Evitts; and her son Earnest W. Chesshir. She is survived by: her husband Delbert Chesshir; her children, Kelly Chesshir (LaDonna Singleton), Catherine Tarwater and Mariah Chesshir; and her sister Mary O'Neal. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, several great grandchildren, several great great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
