She was predeceased by: her parents, Donald Ona and Crystal Jane Berry; her siblings, Dell, Leslie "Pete", Raymond and Sherman; and her grandson Booker Tee Paul Henson.
She is survived by: her children, Stephen Ellis of Brazil and Paula Henson (Kenneth) of East Bernstadt; and her grandchildren, Aaron Durbin of Indiana, Vanessa Henson of Ohio, Clayton Henson of Kentucky, Caleb Henson of Kentucky and M'Kenna Henson of Kentucky.
