She was predeceased by : her parents, William "Bill" Morgan and Stella Morgan; her husband John Bemis; her son John Bemis; and her grandchildren, Tina Weis, T. J. Kates and Robert Curtis.

She is survived by : her children, Ava Curtis, Janet Weis, Melvin Bemis and Edward Bemis; her grandchildren, Eddie Weis (Amy), Devin Bemis, Grace Dickison, Scott Curtis (Diana), Jamie Weaver (Zach) and April Curtis (Shawn Bussing); her great grandchildren, Kaitlyn Weis, Logan Weis (Mallory Buell), Halle Weis, Jacob Muncie, Anna Muncie, Kaleb Travelsted, Avery Travelsted, Theo Travelsted, Kynsley Travelsted, Remi Bussing and Braxton Bemis; and her grandchild Gianna Weis.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, May 28th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the French Funeral Home (421 E National Ave, Brazil, IN 47834). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, May 28th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
