He was predeceased by: his parents, John Mercer and Jane Mercer (Kingery). He is survived by: his daughters, Ellen Looney (Michael) of Danville and Cynthia Tottleben (Tom) of Toulin, IL; and his siblings, John Mercer (Karen) of Clay City and Diane Reynolds (Emery) of Brazil. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great and great-great nieces, and nephews.
