He is survived by: his children, Aaron "A. J." James Richey (Karen) of Terre Haute, Autumn Brooke Bundy (Brian) of Terre Haute and Courtney Laine Coleman (Dallas) of Clinton; his brother Keith Richey (Michelle) of Carmel; and his sisters-in-law, Gaylyn Harmon of Paris, IL and Chris Richey of Terre Haute. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 23rd 2026 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Lawson-Miller Chapel (1702 E National Ave, Brazil, IN 47834). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 23rd 2026 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
