Samuel Rankin Obituary
We are sad to announce that, on September 12, 2022, at the age of 74, Samuel Rankin (Brazil, Indiana) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father John E. Rankin Jr.; his son Chad Gehle; his brother-in-law Robert Headley; and his granddaughter Alauna. He is survived by: his wife Duquata "Dee" Rankin; his children, Carla Jarrett (Billroy), Shawn Marcum, Amanda Blakely, Nicki Sickles (Kenny) and Billy Gehle; his grandchildren, Travis, Taylor Mae, Jade, Alexiana, Aleiya, Amaya, Aneila, Ana, Katie, Brittany, Becky, Rachel, Alison, Billy and Brooke; his sisters, Joyce Thompson (Terry) and Brenda Byers (Tom); his sister-in-law Bernice Headley; and his pets, Rusty, Boots, Snowy, Butter, Rosie and Oreo. He is also survived by six great grandchildren.
Sam loved riding Harley Davidsons especially on charity rides and hill climbs.
