She is survived by: her children, Brenda Carter (Steve), Connie Payne (DeWayne) and Gerald Bennett Sr. (April); her grandchildren, Stephanie Quinn (Joe), Kelsey Carter (Austin Shorter), Gerald Bennett Jr. (Erica), Russell Bennett (Kameko), Scott Bennett (Brittany), Kaitlyn Bennett (Jason White), Jessica Young (Thomas), Ronald Payne, Lynsey John (Alan Payne) and Dustin Payne; and her siblings, Linda Siddons, Cathy Carter, Billie Beaman, William McVey II and Michael McVey. She is also survived by many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
