She was predeceased by: her parents, Clayton Shoup and Mary Shoup (Schmidt); and her sisters, Phyllis and Madelon. She is survived by: her husband Lowell Michaels; her daughter Betsy Houin (Charlie); her grandsons, Matthew and Marcus Houin; and her caregivers, Bethany Maxwell, Janet Prawat, Rhoda Jordan, Barbara Baney and Beth Karas. She is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
