He was predeceased by: his parents, Mildred McGrew, and David McGrew, Sr.; and his brother Robert McGrew. He is survived by: his wife Judy Bowen McGrew; his children, Rich McGrew (Michelle), Nicole McGrew and Monique Michel (Eric); his siblings-in-law, Rick, Sandy Bowen, Tim, Ann Bowen, Rob and Patty Bowen; his grandchildren, Austin Ayotte (Elizabeth), Aaron Ayotte (Taylor), Lilly Michel and Caden Michel; his great grandchildren, Kennedy Ayotte and Miller Ayotte; and his children, David and Ava.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, October 12th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Faith Lutheran Church (1000 Tates Creek Rd, Lexington, KY 40502). A reception will be held on Monday, October 12th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A memorial gathering will be held on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Bremen Community and Performing Arts Center (214 E South St, Bremen, IN 46506). A burial will be held on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 at the Bremen Cemetery (505 E 2nd St, Bremen, IN 46506).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Mission Endowment Trust Fund, Faith Lutheran Church, Lexington, Ky.
