She was predeceased by: her parents, George H. Schlemmer and Florence E. Schlemmer (Foeckler); her spouse Thomas W. Walter; and her siblings, Velma Stuckey (Roy), Reta Miller (Sanford), Esther Huff (Roland), Vera Miller (Maynard), Evelyn Fox (Harold), Marjorie Reed (Harold), Junior Schlemmer (Janet) and Lois Naragon (Chet).
She is survived by: her children, Steven Walter (LeeAnn), Jeanna Hall, James Walter and David Walter (Annette); and her grandchildren, Stephanie Kulwicki (Kevin), Krystal Wagoner, Katie Walter, Emily Walter, Caleb Walter, Josh Walter, Ben Walter, Rachel Hall, Katie Weber (Ben), Erika Walter (Daniel Verteramo) and Jayde Glass.
In lieu of flowers, the family prefers memorial contributions to be made to St. Paul's Lutheran Church or Marshall Co. Humane Society, 11165 13th Rd., Plymouth, IN 46563.
