With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Eli W. Yutzy of Bremen, Indiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 25, 2026 at the age of 89. He was predeceased by: his parents, William J. Yutzy and Fannie Yutzy (Miller); his daughter Suetta Yutzy; his grandson Joas Yutzy; his siblings, John Yutzy and Katie Weaver; and his siblings-in-law, Oscar Burkholder, Jonas Mullet, Pheanis Wickey and Ina Mullet.
He is survived by: his wife Loretta Yutzy of Bremen, IN; his children, William Yutzy (Ruth Otto) of Hillsboro, WI, Edward Yutzy (Julie Hochstetler) of Bremen, Eli Jr. Yutzy (Lydia Mae Miller) of Sturgis, MI, John Yutzy (Geneva Bontrager) of Goshen, IN, Rosetta Schmidt (Stephen) of Goshen, Becky Hochstetler (Howard) of Bremen, Clara Yoder (Perry) of Bremen, Mary Hochstetler (Dennis) of Bremen and Elizabeth Slabaugh (Jerry) of Nappanee; his siblings, Fred Yutzy (Sara Ann) of Vermontville, MI, Jonas Yutzy (Emma) of Jamesport, MO and Mary Beechy (Elmer) of Jamesport, MO; and his sisters-in-law, Maude Burkholder of Bremen and Elizabeth Wickey of Bremen. He is also survived by 60 grandchildren; 147 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild.
