Gloria Kiefer Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gloria Kiefer of Bremen, Indiana, who passed away on November 21, 2024, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Martin Carl Volquardsen and Myrtle Florence Davenport; her husband Benjamin Smith; her son Patrick; and her sister Alice Vernasco.

She is survived by: her children, Pamela Reed (Tom) of Syracuse, IN and Michael Smith (Melanie) of Pierceton, IN.; her stepsons, John Kiefer (Sandy) of Bremen, James Kiefer (Melody) of Elk Rapids, MI and David Kiefer (Beth) of Birmingham, MI; her daughter-in-law Debbie Smith of Creedmor, NC.; and her grandchildren, Tabitha Varma, Heather Just (George), Williard Lewis, Jeanette Lewis, Zachery Lewis, Ryan Norsmith (Laurel), Michelle Shenefield (Skyler), Brett Smith (Dessiree), Lisa Kochenspager (Kanaan), Brianna Smith, Hannah Kiefer, Seth Kiefer (Sarah), Deidre Kiefer (Chris Kamrath), Meredith Stidham (Josh), Claire, Katherine and Lillian Kiefer.
