Hochstetler and Tillie Hochstetler (Schmucker); his wife Amanda Chupp; his siblings, Melvin Hochstetler, John Henry Hochstetler, Edward Hochstetler and Lydia Mae Stoltzfus; and his siblings-in-law, Lester Helmuth, Nicholas Stoltzfus, Ernest Hochstetler, Esther Hochstetler and Mary Hochstetler.
He is survived by: his children, Glen Hochstetler (Martha Miller), John Hochstetler (Sara Miller), Duane Hochstetler, Gary Hochstetler (Sheryl Weideman), Rosetta Hochstetler (Dale) and Wanda Kuhns (John); his siblings, Elmer Hochstetler (Mary) of Belle Center, OH, Edwin Hochstetler (Emma) of Danville, OH, Levi Jr. Hochstetler (Betty), Rudy Hochstetler (Carol), Lamar Hochstetler (Elizabeth), Raymond Hochstetler (Fannie) of Danville, OH, Moses Lee Hochstetler, Mary Chupp (Ura) of Nappanee and Esther Helmuth (Lester) of Nappanee; and his siblings-in-law, Clarence and Sarah Joan Chupp. He is also survived by 26 grandchildren; 63 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 14th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Marlin Helmuth Residence (4889 E County Line Rd, Bremen, IN 46506). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 16th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the Funeral Marlin Helmuth Residence (4889 E County Line Rd, Bremen, IN 46506).
