As Lynda departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Lynda may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Lynda leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Johnson Sipes and Lorene Sipes (Winford); and her children, Michelle Van Nevel and Michael Walter. She is survived by: her daughter Marilyn Carter of Lexington, KY; and her sister Wanda Von. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family request memorial contributions to be made to Gideon's International.
